I am an experienced writer with a college education. I shocked my English teacher in high school with my first term paper on adolescent suicide. She asked me for permission to keep a copy of my paper so that she could use it as an example for her future classes. She also spoke with my guidance counselor hoping that I would be encouraged to major in English Literature when I attended Penn State the following year. However I had my sights set on becoming a psychiatrist.
It was my English professor at California University that inspired to change my mind. After only a few assignments he asked me to meet with him in his office where he told me that I was the best writer that he ever had in any of his classes. I changed my major then and picked up every English course available. The articles and assignments that I wrote were soon published in our college newspaper.
I have since expanded my writing skills to adapt to the World Wide Web. This includes SEO website articles, newsletters, e-books, blogging, and of course my favorite, creative writing. A few online courses led me in the right direction and my creativity and imagination took over from there.
